Job Summary
Conduct tree pruning, trimming, removal, brush chipping, mowing, and stump grinding while adhering to all safety policies and using required PPE. Assist climbers with rigging systems, stage equipment, and safely operate chainsaws, pole saws, and wood chippers after daily inspections. Identify site hazards during job briefings, interact professionally with property owners and municipal officials, and follow crew leadership direction. Perform physically demanding tasks in all weather conditions, including work at heights up to 60 feet and near energized power lines. Maintain tools in clean, working condition and contribute to a positive team environment. Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (as determined by insurance).
- Ability to obtain a DOT medical card.
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively with the team in English.
- Reliable, safety-oriented, and able to work well within a team.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job and work in all weather conditions.
Desired Qualifications
- CDL Class A license.
- MN Pesticide Spray License Class A-J.
- EHAP (line voltage recognition) training.
- ISA Certification or ability to obtain.
- Degree in Forestry or a related field.
