Job Summary
Crew Member responsibilities include assembling and presenting completed treat orders, stocking and cleaning, and maintaining all customer areas to health standards. The role requires preparing treat products quickly and accurately, operating and maintaining restaurant equipment safely, communicating clearly with coworkers to ensure correct orders, and supporting a team to deliver consistent quality, service, cleanliness and value. The position involves working in a fast-paced Dairy Queen environment in Marion, IL, with shifts starting in the morning and early afternoon, and opportunities to assume cashier, chill/ice cream, grill/kitchen, and hospitality duties as part of the team. Key skills include customer service, food safety, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, ability to stand for long periods, reading order monitors, and adhering to health regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Able to move cases of food/paper products, buckets of sanitizing liquid or cleaner, containers up to 50 pounds up to 10 times per six-hour shift
- Must be able to perform under pressure in a high volume restaurant
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Interact with the public and co-workers constantly during shifts
- Must be able to read order monitors
- Practice established food handling procedures and meet any local health regulations
- Exhibit and use good manners, proper personal hygiene, positive attitude, and promptness
