Job Summary
Deliver quality food and positive guest service by preparing, packaging, and delivering products according to menu standards while maintaining a clean, safe environment. Clean and stock assigned areas, handle food products following strict safety and sanitation procedures, and ensure all guests receive hot, quality meals. Work assigned positions accurately and productively, applying Carl's Jr. guest service guidelines to exceed expectations. This role requires high school enrollment, minimum 16 years of age, reliable transportation, and the ability to work flexible hours including opening and closing shifts. Candidates must demonstrate strong teamwork, initiative, and physical stamina to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs while working in close quarters.
Required Qualifications
- Enrollment in high school; high school diploma or equivalent
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Must be a minimum of 16 years of age
- Must have reliable transportation to work
- Must have telephone or other reliable method of communicating with the restaurant
- Must be able and willing to work flexible hours, possibly including opening and closing shifts
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to bend and stoop
- Must be able to work around heat
- Must be able to work around others in close quarters
- Must be able to move throughout the restaurant to work specific stations or perform assigned tasks
- Must be able to lift up-to 50 lbs. comfortably
- Ability to work with others (as a team)
- Ability to comfortably interact with all guests
- Ability to look at the restaurant operations (from a guest's point of view)
- Ability to meet performance standards for assigned tasks and duties
- Ability to take initiative
- Problem solving skills
