Job Summary

Take charge of all technical and safety aspects of PV installations, including managing solar electric and battery energy storage system installs. Coordinate service cases, AHJ inspections, and equipment logistics while accurately recording and uploading site documentation into Salesforce. Supervise assigned crews by scheduling activities, approving timecards, conducting performance reviews, and ensuring compliance with OSHA and GRID standards. Connect with homeowners, volunteers, and media to deliver solar energy to low-income families. This full-time role requires 3-5 years of solar installation experience with at least one year in a supervisory capacity, strong electrical skills, and willingness to work evenings and weekends. The position involves up to 25% regional travel throughout the Los Angeles area.

Required Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in solar or electrical installations
  • at least 1 year in a supervisory role
  • Strong electrical skills applicable to both residential and commercial sectors
  • In-depth knowledge of solar PV and energy storage systems
  • Comfortable working on roofs and performing physically fast-paced tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods in various weather conditions
  • Skilled in using fundamental hand and power tools
