Job Summary
Leads city parks maintenance crews; oversees inspection, maintenance and repair of parks, facilities and equipment; ensures safety compliance; coordinates daily activities; supervises staff; oversees irrigation, pesticides, and fertilization; performs administrative tasks like records management and payroll reporting; requires CDL and two technical certifications; strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent; AND four year’s building and grounds maintenance experience, preferably with the City of Corinth; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must possess a valid Commercial Driver’s license or obtain a CDL within one year of hire.
- Must possess a minimum of two Specific technical certifications. Including; Pesticide, Playground Inspector or Irrigation system or you must obtain certifications within one year of hire.
