Job Summary
Manage labor and materials to complete assigned contract maintenance and snow removal projects while developing assistants and crewmembers. Plan, schedule, and supervise daily production activities, then monitor job hours, reports, and costs to ensure work finishes within budgeted hours. Maintain relationships with clients by inspecting jobs daily, completing property service reports, and proactively addressing issues. Sell extras through T&M tickets and keep assigned vehicles and equipment in good working order. Cooperate with other field managers to meet branch goals. This role requires a valid driver's license, experience in commercial contract maintenance, and knowledge of landscape equipment.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated skill and ability to manage others at other levels
- Demonstrated skill and ability to work with service customers
- At least one year of experience doing contract maintenance work in a commercial setting
- Two or four-year horticultural or related degrees and two years of industry experience
- Ability to identify and diagnose insect and disease problems and schedule appropriate treatment
- Working knowledge of vehicles and equipment used in contract maintenance and snow removal
- Valid driver's license with a clean record over the last three years
