Job Summary
Crew Leader coordinates and directs a greenhouse crew on production, plant maintenance, and shipping preparation. Responsible for workflow, record keeping, tools/resources, guiding crew on work orders, training and coaching team members, providing feedback to management, and ensuring safety and effective collaboration. May drive electric carts and climb ladders; requires ability to lead by example, maintain reliability and punctuality, communicate professionally, work independently, and adapt to varying work conditions. Requires standing/walking 8+ hours, lifting up to 20 lbs (up to 50 lbs for some tasks), pushing/pulling carts up to 200-300 lbs, adherence to safety policies, and ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent work experience
- Minimum one-year experience in greenhouse, nursery operations or horticulture, or related field
- Minimum six-months of crew lead or supervisory experience
- Must be able to speak English; bilingual in Spanish a plus
