Job Summary
Lead and oversee a landscaping ground crew to ensure properties meet Focal Pointe standards. Responsibilities include installing and maintaining seasonal plants, mowing, trimming, fertilizing, mulching, edging, weeding, pruning trees/shrubs, maintaining equipment, ensuring plant health, pest management, and keeping sites clean and safe. Supervise crew activities, train staff, maintain client satisfaction, and coordinate with supervisor. Requires knowledge of landscaping design, regional flora, pesticides/fertilizers, safety regulations, and a valid driver’s license. This is a full-time, outdoor leadership role with responsibilities for personnel and site safety.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid Class E driver’s license
- Extensive knowledge of regional plant life
- Knowledge of pests and elimination methods
- Knowledge of fertilizers (synthetic and natural)
- Proficient equipment operation (mowers, trimmers, pruners)
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Strong communication and leadership skills
