Job Summary
Detect cross-bored wastewater lines and collect field data using ESRI GPS software during inspections. Establish safe work zones with traffic cones and signs, then prepare CCTV robots and equipment under the Operator's direction. Dispatch tractor units securely into pipes using cranes or hooks, and mark job sites with utility paint. Travel 80% of the time, working weekends and nights while operating ATVs and navigating off-road terrain. Maintain driver eligibility through DOT medical certification and complete confined space training.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to pass a thorough background check and pre-employment drug screen
- Must be able to walk on various terrain, work in various type of weather conditions and work in confined spaces, bend, squat and lift/carry up to 75 pounds
- Ability to travel 2 to 3 weeks at a time as needed
- Ability to work weekends
- Ability to work some nights
- Travel could be upwards of 80% of the time based on project locations
- Ability to possess or obtain Confined Space Training certifications
- Must have reliable transportation
- Ability to work outdoors whiles using ATV equipment
- Understand, speak, read, and write English
- Must be able to drive company or DOT-regulated vehicles
- Maintaining driver eligibility
- A valid driver's license
- Obtaining a medical clearance to drive DOT-regulated vehicles (DOT Medical Certification)
- Obtain this medical certification within 90 days of hire
- Maintain driver eligibility or medical clearance as a condition of continued employment
- Compliance with Hydromax USA's vaccination safety program
- Documentation of previously completed required vaccinations or completion of required vaccinations within the first 30 days of employment
- Hepatitis B vaccination
- Hepatitis A vaccination
- TDAP/Tdap (Tetanus, Diphtheria, Acellular Pertussis) vaccination
