Job Summary
Operate and supervise heavy mining equipment including bulldozers, road graders, articulated haul trucks, scrapers, water trucks, and excavators while prioritizing safety. Receive instructions from the Mine Supervisor regarding material movement and excavation, then observe ground markings, hand signals, or grade stakes to remove material. Read daily cut sheets and communicate these instructions to all crew members. Inspect, clean, maintain, and lubricate equipment; organize drill hole samples and assist with data entry, safety audits, or parts inventory. Comply with all safety, environmental regulations, and company policies. Requires a valid driver's license with qualifying DMV history, strong decision-making capability, and ability to work a flexible schedule with a high degree of autonomy.
