Job Summary
Lead installer responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining solar PV systems on roofs; provides leadership to crew, trains crew members on components and procedures, and ensures quality and safety per OSHA and ION guidelines. Duties include configuring PV systems per site conditions, wiring and connecting panels to electrical system and grid, maintaining quality control, reviewing plans and BOM, ensuring weather sealing, conducting routine PV maintenance, and performing final walkthrough with the customer. Knowledge of PV equipment, electrical wiring, reading building plans, using hand/power tools, and proficiency with company tech (Paycom, Field Pro, Salesforce) required. Must have a valid driver's license, be at least 21, and able to lift 50 pounds; high school diploma or equivalent required; solar install experience required; vocational/technical training preferred. Work environment is outdoors and on rooftops; team-based installation.
