Job Summary
Lead and supervise daily field operations on multiple job sites while actively participating in pavement maintenance tasks such as line striping, sealcoating, crack filling, and asphalt repairs. Operate specialized equipment including striping machines and grinders, plan production to meet deadlines, and conduct daily safety briefings to maintain a safe job site. Delegate work effectively, troubleshoot equipment issues, and perform quality inspections before project completion. Communicate progress and material needs to the Operations Manager, complete daily paperwork, and assist with training new technicians. Maintain vehicles and equipment in clean working condition while interacting professionally with customers.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in pavement maintenance, line striping, asphalt maintenance, or a related construction field
- Previous experience leading crews or supervising field operations
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to safely tow trailers and operate commercial equipment
- Experience operating airless striping machines, sealcoat systems, crack fill melters, and related equipment
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physically demanding work
- Willingness to work occasional evenings, weekends, and overtime during peak season
Desired Qualifications
- CDL
