Job Summary
Crew Lead on 2nd shift at Fresh Express overseeing day-to-day production operations for all lines in the area. Responsibilities include communicating production schedules and staffing needs, ensuring lines are set up with correct product, labeling, and packaging information, coordinating line changeovers with machine operators, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, monitoring packaging line quantities and quality, communicating mechanical issues, ensuring accurate hourly documentation, executing the daily production schedule, and meeting machine efficiency targets. Also assist with new hire orientation and verify competency across work areas, and validate carton barcode scanning and PMO paperwork. Requires lifting 25+ lbs, standing for long shifts in a noisy, cold production environment, and performing repetitive motions; able to perform duties across multiple production lines and adapt to schedule changes.
Required Qualifications
- Able to lift 25+ lbs.
- Stand for the duration of the shift (10 hours or more)
- Bend continuously throughout the shift
- Able to work in a noisy, wet and cold environment of approximately 36 degrees Fahrenheit
- Perform repetitive motions for the duration of the shift
- Able to reach with hands and arms to check product
