Job Summary
Crew Foreman needed to lead on-site hardscape crews for a construction firm. Responsibilities include operating and maintaining construction equipment (skid loaders, excavators, bulldozers, rollers), providing hands-on labor when not operating machinery, reading and laying out elevations from construction drawings, leading the crew in complex tasks and efficient cutting work, planning material deliveries to meet production timelines, enforcing safety standards and conducting safety trainings, training team members on machinery maintenance, driving the company truck to project sites, managing production reporting and timekeeping, and addressing on-site challenges with clear leadership. The role requires English communication, a valid driver’s license, and extensive experience with hardscaping and construction equipment; Spanish language ability is advantageous.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in hardscaping including the construction of retaining walls, patios, and walkways
- Strong leadership skills capable of managing teams and meeting production goals
- Proficient in reading and interpreting elevations and construction plans
- Extensive experience with relevant construction equipment
- A safety-first mindset, with previous experience in enforcing rigorous safety standards
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Proven ability to communicate in English; bilingual abilities in Spanish is advantageous
