Job Summary
Lead land surveying crew to perform pre-design boundary and ALTA surveys for electric vehicle charging stations; manage field operations, travel regionally, and independently deliver surveying services. Role involves traveling extensively within the region, supervising and mentoring surveying technicians, and operating total stations and GPS (static/RTK). Must have a valid driver’s license, OSHA 10 and CPR/First Aid (or willingness to obtain), and be physically capable of navigating construction sites and carrying equipment. Preferred Associate degree in Surveying, Engineering Technology, or related field; experience in land development and public infrastructure projects; strong leadership and coordination skills; proficient with Microsoft Office.
Required Qualifications
- Proven leadership skills in managing and mentoring a survey crew
- Proficient in operating total stations and GPS in static and RTK modes for various surveying tasks
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- OSHA 10 and CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a capacity to work independently
- Basic proficiency in office software (Microsoft Office Suite)
- Experience in Land Development (Commercial and Residential) and Public Infrastructure projects
- Proven ability to coordinate activities with surveying technicians and engineering staff
- Physically agile and able to navigate construction sites and remote locations
- Ability to carry survey equipment up to 50 pounds
