Job Summary
Seeking a highly motivated Crew Chief for Jr. Davis Construction to lead survey crews in heavy highway projects. Requires 2+ years of land surveying experience, proficiency with Trimble GPS, and a clean driver's license. Offers competitive pay and opportunities for growth.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of land surveying experience (construction layout preferred)
- Familiarity with Trimble GPS, Total Station, and related software
- Valid driver’s license with a clean MVR (company truck provided)
- Able to carry survey equipment in various terrain (urban, rural, or remote)
- Strong focus on safety, with a commitment to company safety protocols
- Willingness to work nights, weekends, and travel as needed
- Professional demeanor with strong communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and general computer literacy
- OSHA 10 and CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain)
- Experience with data collection software and digital field note systems
