Crew Chief II - Construction Staking

Lead daily field operations for complex survey and construction staking projects, ensuring tasks are executed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with McAdams standards. Independently read and interpret construction plans for grading, drainage, and roadway profiles to guide accurate layout and data collection. Supervise and mentor Junior Crew Chiefs and survey staff, providing technical direction, fostering growth, and maintaining a safe work environment through hazard identification and JHA execution. Manage assigned survey equipment and vehicles, ensuring proper maintenance and calibration. Communicate proactively with clients, contractors, and project managers while resolving on-site issues diplomatically. Maintain a safe work environment for all crew members, assist with executing JHA's, participate with pre and post job briefs, speak up when potential hazards or unsafe work conditions are identified.
