Job Summary
Direct assembly operations by monitoring performance to standard, engaging employees on overages and mis-clockings, and executing immediate corrective actions for quality escapements and high-impact scrap. Manage team logistics by updating area ANDON Boards daily, coordinating overtime requirements, and ensuring clocking accuracy to work orders. Lead daily 6S shop clean-ups at shift end, approve PTO requests, and facilitate performance reviews with input and feedback. Collaborate with distributors to order supplies and work with Program Management on customer inquiries, part shortages, and constraints. Promote a culture of transparency and problem-solving within the team while maintaining a can-do attitude and positive outcome mindset.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- one year related experience and/or training
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read customer provided documents
- Knowledge of setting-up machines
- Ability to work well with people
