Job Summary
Senior-level Credit Portfolio Manager responsible for leading a team that conducts condominium and cooperative condo/co-op reviews to support mortgage underwriting across Retail, Home Equity, Wealth and Correspondent channels. Oversees adherence to Citi, Fannie Mae, and Freddie Mac lending guidelines; monitors production and escalates SLA-related issues; serves as SME across multiple teams; conducts condo/co-op audits and training; drives process improvements and liaises with Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac and the Repurchase group as needed; requires strong leadership, analytical thinking, governance, and risk-management skills.
Required Qualifications
- 6-10 years of experience in residential real estate mortgage operations with condo / co-op review and analysis including Fannie, Freddie and portfolio
- Strong knowledge of Retail Mortgage, Credit Policy and Underwriting
- Working knowledge of Regulatory Guidelines and Quality Expectations
- Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
- Proven organization and time management skills
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (Master's degree preferred)
