Job Summary
Lead the credit analysis process and manage primary accountability for monitoring and maintenance activities for an assigned portfolio of commercial real estate loans. Monitor operating performance and financial conditions to proactively identify issues, while delivering financial, industry, and economic analysis to inform risk rating recommendations and facilitate loan decision-making. Partner with Credit Officers and Relationship Management to understand structuring needs, execute post-close credit activities, and provide underwriting analysis and approval recommendations for borrower requests. Review work of junior teammates to ensure compliance with laws, rules, regulations, and policy procedures. Participate in loan structure conversations and contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance portfolio oversight and operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years commercial real estate credit related experience
- Financial analysis and portfolio management experience
- Financial accounting, financial modeling and loan structuring experience
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics or similar
- Certificate from accredited real estate educational program
- Large money center bank experience
- CRE portfolio management experience
- Commercial Credit Training
