Job Summary
Manage a portfolio of clients supporting underwriting and monitoring requirements with limited to moderate complexity. Independently work with Relationship Management and Risk teammates to understand structuring needs, delivering financial modeling, loan structure, industry, and economic analyses to support loan decision-making. Review junior teammate work to provide feedback and ensure compliance with laws, rules, regulations, and policy procedures. Lead the process for credit actions, including loan structure conversations and documentation completion with internal and external legal partners. This role requires 3+ years of experience in Commercial Banking underwriting and financial analysis.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of solid experience in Commercial Banking (Middle Market or Large Corporate or Leveraged Finance or Financial Sponsors or other highly complex credits) underwriting, performing financial analysis, structuring, and portfolio management
- Strong communication and analytical/technical skills, including financial accounting, modeling and loan structuring
Desired Qualifications
- Participate with RM or CO's to negotiate Credit Agreements & loan documents, as needed
- Be knowledgeable of the closing process & timeline for all types of loans (i.e. real estate, revolvers, etc.)
