Credit Support Associate II - Global Wealth & Investment Management

Job Summary

Monitor financial reporting, coordinate client onboarding, and support the systematic execution of the credit process as the primary liaison between client partners and management teams. Engage with team members to manage the bank's portfolio by tracking financial package collection, maturities, annual reviews, past due payments, and failed covenants. Assist in resolving complex client issues, clearing collateral exceptions, and engaging outside counsel to prepare loan documentation and complete pre-close checklists. Act as a triage point for Merrill Senior Credit Advisors by fulfilling client service plans, executing loan renewals, and coordinating with portfolio managers to ensure transactions meet audit and compliance standards.

Required Qualifications

  • 2 - 5 years of experience with a financial institution focusing on client service for loans, preferably in the High-Net-Worth space
  • Solid understanding of banking and lending products, services and processes
  • Requires a working knowledge of the Bank's credit policies, procedures, and guidelines
  • Ability to manage multiple complex tasks while delivering high quality results
  • Leadership, initiative, self-motivation and resourcefulness
  • Demonstrated experience in Data Management, Reporting Management and Portfolio Management
  • Requires PC proficiency including Excel, Word, Outlook and other applications
  • Requires knowledge of Global Monitoring System (GMS) and Global Underwriting System (GUS), LIQ, BOSS, and other GWIM Banking systems

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration or Economics is preferred
