Job Summary
Communicate with customers regarding credit applications, billing discrepancies, and overdue invoices to resolve payment applications and collect past due accounts. Grant extensions of credit, receive payments, and post amounts to customer accounts while reviewing terms of sale, service, and credit contracts. Confer with customers via telephone, mail, and email to determine reasons for overdue payments and obtain payment. Record financial status and collection efforts in electronic CRM notes, ensuring all daily paperwork and assignments are submitted as directed. Maintain company standards for accuracy and promptness in performing job duties.
Required Qualifications
- Be a minimum of 18 years of age
- Previous collections, accounts receivable, accounts payable or property management experience
- Have good interpersonal skills and be able to effectively communicate with customers, managers, and coworkers
- Be able to work flexible hours, and overtime as needed
- Have reliable transportation to and from work
- Have 3 years of experience in a working environment
