Job Summary
Originates residential mortgage loans and HELOCs for clients and serves as a primary lending specialist within the financial center. Delivers home lending products in person or by telephone, balances sales performance with risk and client relationship care, submits mortgage applications, assists clients with documentation, and maintains communications through outbound calls and messaging. Builds and deepens client relationships, analyzes financial needs, and provides tailored financial solutions across mortgage products and other banking offerings. Partners with center leadership to coach associates on delivering exceptional client experiences and adheres to regulatory due diligence and compliance requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of mortgage origination experience, or equivalent experience demonstrating ability to assess client needs, leadership ability, build trust, deepen relationships, and/or self-source business with a proven record in consultative sales and delivering tailored financial solutions
- Ability to analyze financial data and advise clients on product/pricing policies and guidelines
- Effective customer service skills with ability to manage the full client end-to-end experience and problem resolution
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Comfortable engaging clients in person and over the phone
- Willingness to work weekends and/or extended hours as needed
- Demonstrates commitment to professional ethics and regulatory compliance
Additional Requirements
- FDIC/SAFE Act background check required; SAFE Act registration required for residential mortgage loan originations
