Job Summary
Originates residential mortgage loans for clients, delivering First Mortgage and HELOC solutions in a Bank of America financial center, with outreach via phone and in-person interactions. Builds and deepens client relationships, analyzes borrowing needs, guides clients to suitable mortgage and banking products (including Auto Loans and Credit Cards), collects documentation, submits applications, and maintains ongoing communication through the loan process. Requires mortgage origination experience (or equivalent), strong client-facing communication, analytical skills to assess credit data and pricing policies, and the ability to work a 40-hour week in the Hyannis, MA office with weekend/extended hours as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of mortgage origination experience, or equivalent experience demonstrating the ability to assess client needs and deliver tailored financial solutions
- Ability to interact with clients in person and over the phone; professional communication skills
- Analytical ability to assess financial data and apply product/pricing guidelines
- Strong customer service skills and end-to-end client experience management
- Willingness to work weekends and/or extended hours as needed
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Team player with ability to collaborate internally
- Proficiency with technology and banking products
- Knowledge of mortgage products (Conventional, Jumbo, HELOC, Government) and regulatory requirements
- Ability to learn and understand regulatory and compliance policies
