Job Summary
Originates loans for residential mortgage clients and acts as the primary lending specialist in the financial center, delivering First Mortgage and HELOC products in person or by telephone while balancing sales performance, operational risk, and client relationship care. Builds and deepens client relationships by leveraging bank capabilities, analyzes clients’ financial needs to recommend suitable borrowing and banking solutions, presents home lending product options, orchestrates mortgage applications, gathers documentation, and maintains client updates via outbound calls, email, and online messaging. Conducts outreach and pipeline management, follows up to meet client needs, and refers clients to internal partners as appropriate. Role requires SAFE Act registration and may require flexible weekend/extened hours as needed; strong communication, analytical, and client-service skills are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years mortgage origination experience or equivalent with ability to assess client needs and provide tailored financial solutions
- High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent
- SAFE Act registration required for residential mortgage loan originations
