Job Summary
Manage the creation, implementation, and validation of risk segmentation strategies covering adjudication, account management, exposure management, and financial return optimization. Deploy critical credit risk rational strategies using complex data, advanced analytical approaches, and business intelligence tools to ensure decisions align with TD's risk appetite and governmental guidelines. Investigate and implement new initiatives, operating workflows, and operational efficiencies while creating reports on strategy results using quantitative methods and MIS. Provide comprehensive risk management expertise by interpreting information to recommend critical strategies to Senior Management and ensuring sound credit control through proactive risk management within bank guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years' experience
- Proficient PC skills including a strong competency in MS Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with the use of Relational Databases and the process of Extract Transform Load (ETL) using common languages such as SQL or SAS
- Familiarity with various analytical or reporting tools, such as SAS, R, Matlab Tableau, etc.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Experience in data modeling and risk management either from a business administration, statistical, mathematical, scientific or financial background
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
