Job Summary
Develop strategic and tactical recommendations to enhance profitability while managing overall portfolio risk within the Regions risk framework. Identify, measure, mitigate, monitor, and report on consumer credit portfolios by analyzing data to support underwriting requirements and origination automation strategies. Recommend comprehensive consumer credit policies, monitor compliance, and provide business insights for credit model enhancements. Utilize alternative data sources to segment loan applicant data, develop account management and collection prioritization strategies, and independently report key risks. Act as a liaison to business units on Credit Review, communicating findings to senior management. Bachelor's degree and three years of consumer credit risk management experience required. Full-time position in Hoover, Alabama, with a target pay range of $101,064.15 to $132,650.00.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Three (3) years of experience in consumer credit risk management
- Ability to evaluate, synthesize, organize, and interpret data and information
- Ability to provide direction in underwriting requirements and origination automation strategies
- Knowledge of quantitative analysis and static pool analysis
- Strong technical skills, basic programming and statistical concepts
- Strong verbal, written communication, and organizational skills
- Understanding of Consumer Credit products, industry changes, regulatory requirements and banking laws
