Job Summary

Supervise and mentor a team of credit analysts while reviewing, pre-approving credit analyses, financial statements, and full approval memos. Maintain an active deal pipeline and perform portfolio-level analysis to prioritize workloads and ensure credit decisions align with organizational risk guidelines and regulatory requirements. Provide leadership in bank underwriting practices, monitor loans, and analyze commercial loan requests to identify strengths, weaknesses, and policy deviations. Collaborate with Relationship Managers across designated locations, offering recommendations and capturing the Director of Credit Solutions' vision. Requires a Bachelor's degree, 4+ years in commercial credit analysis, and ability to travel 10% of the time.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
  • 4+ years of progressive experience in commercial credit analysis, underwriting, or portfolio management, preferably in commercial loans
  • Demonstrated experience in complex financial analysis, including interpretation of financial statements, cash flow analysis, and risk assessment
  • Prior experience providing guidance, mentorship, or leadership within a credit or lending team
  • Strong knowledge of commercial lending practices, credit risk management, and banking regulations
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality analysis in a deadline-driven environment
  • Must be able to travel – estimated 10% of the time
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire
  • Must complete a criminal history report, global screen, drug screen, employment credit report and if applicable, a driving record prior to employment

  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to partner cross-functionally to support business objectives
  • High level of attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and quality
