Engage constructively with Relationship Managers to ensure findings are well-supported while maintaining productive first-line relationships.

  • Experience assessing complex information and forming independent, well-evidenced judgements.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in a credit risk, portfolio monitoring, internal audit or second-line assurance role within a lending organisation (private credit, non-bank lending or commercial banking)
  • Familiarity with the credit lifecycle and second-line assurance methodologies covenant monitoring, MI review, watchlist management, early warning indicators, the three lines of defence model, or RAYG-style rating frameworks.
  • Experience with credit management systems (e.g. Aspire) or data/portfolio monitoring tools.
  • Exposure to multiple lending products, including SME lending, development finance, specialty finance or funds finance.
  • Prior experience introducing technology or process improvements within a risk or assurance function.
