Job Summary
Conduct transactional testing of credit processes for new and existing clients across Global Markets, Financial Institutions, and Global Wealth portfolios. Perform complex credit review examinations, establish monitoring plans, and assess risk ratings to identify emerging risks and drive continuous improvement. Lead special projects, influence senior leaders through fact-based analysis, and coordinate with Corporate Audit and regulatory agencies. Maintain high-quality work papers and support the development of credit review strategies and operational excellence initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of direct commercial credit experience
- Bachelor's Degree with a preference in finance, accounting, economics or other business concentration
- 5+ years experience commercial credit experience (direct lending, workout, risk management and/or regulatory)
- Ability to support conclusions through fact-based analysis and ability to influence senior leaders
- Excellent credit analysis, project management and leadership skills
- Strong organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to manage multiple complex tasks while delivering high quality results
- Expert Financial Analysis Skills
- Deep knowledge of Loan Structuring and underwriting
- Experienced in Credit and Risk Assessment
- Issue Management and Resolution
- A strong knowledge of Regulatory Compliance
- Excellent skills in building and maintaining business relationships
Desired Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in identifying, assessing and reporting on existing and emerging risks
- Experience with direct applicability to Credit Review responsibility
- Ability to coach/mentor new or less experienced associates
- Strong Counterparty Credit Risk background and/or Global Markets experience preferred
