Credit Resolution Specialist

Recover money owed to Pen Air Credit Union for delinquent loans while ensuring compliance with the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and all regulatory guidelines. Contact delinquent accounts by phone, text, email, and mail; assess borrowers’ financial situations and recommend repayment arrangements, deferments, or collateral processes to bring accounts current. Analyze borrower financials and determine whether collateral repossession or charge-offs are appropriate if other arrangements fail. Maintain accurate files and reports on all collections activity. Complete weekly training via BVS courses, attorney courses, and other online resources. Perform skip tracing to locate difficult members. Inform management of trends in loan underwriting contributing to delinquent/charged-off loans. Participate in scheduled training with a Senior Credit Resolution Specialist to enhance knowledge and skills. Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
