Job Summary
Credit Representative position focusing on locating, notifying, and securing payments from delinquent accounts. Responsibilities include sending text messages and letters to encourage payment, contacting customers by text or phone to review terms and reasons for overdue payment, documenting all correspondence, receiving and posting payments, balanced cash drawer management, traveling to customer homes for collections (with repossession support as needed), preparing paperwork for legal action against severely delinquent accounts, initiating credit investigations under supervision, logging activities, operating essential office equipment, and assisting customers on the sales floor. Requires CRM/PQA usage, data entry, and adherence to store standards and values; goal is to maintain or improve collection outcomes and contribute to overall store performance.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; six months experience in payment collections or general office procedures; or any combination of training, experience and education which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities for this position. Must possess and maintain a valid State Driver’s License.
