Credit Representative

Locate, notify, and secure payments from customers with delinquent accounts by sending text messages, mailing notices, and conducting telephone or home visits to determine reasons for overdue payments and review contract terms. Document all correspondence, receive payments, post amounts to accounts, and maintain cash drawers while traveling to customers' homes for collections or assisting with repossessions upon Store Manager approval. Initiate credit investigations for new applicants, prepare paperwork for legal action, and log daily work activities. Assist customers on the sales floor as assigned, including greeting shoppers, demonstrating products, and updating CRM, while maintaining an acceptable sales quota. Operate office equipment and process documentation reports.
