Job Summary
Contact delinquent customers via text, phone, or mail to secure payments and determine reasons for overdue accounts. Document all correspondence, receive payments, and post amounts to customer accounts while maintaining and balancing assigned cash drawers. Travel to customers' homes for collection or repossession assistance when approved, and prepare paperwork for legal action against severely late-paying clients. Initiate credit investigations for new applicants, log work activities daily, and operate office equipment to process documentation. Assist customers on the sales floor as assigned, including product demonstrations and CRM updates, while maintaining sales quotas and adhering to store standards.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- six months experience in payment collections or general office procedures
- any combination of training, experience and education which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities for this position
- valid State Driver's License
