Credit Representative

Locate, notify, and secure payments from customers with delinquent accounts by sending text messages, mailing notices, and conferring via text or telephone to determine reasons for overdue payments and review contract terms. Document all correspondence, receive payments, post amounts to accounts, and maintain cash drawers with keys removed when unattended. Travel to customers' homes to collect payments or assist with repossessions upon Store Manager approval, and prepare paperwork for legal action against severely late-paying customers. Initiate credit investigations for new applicants, log work activities, process documentation, and operate office equipment. Assist customers on the sales floor, participate in rotations, demonstrate products, and update CRM while maintaining sales quotas. Requires a valid driver's license, six months experience in payment collections, and ability to perform moderate physical effort including lifting up to 50 pounds.
