Job Summary
Credit Representative position focused on locating, notifying, and securing payments from delinquent accounts. Responsibilities include sending text messages and notices to encourage payment, contacting customers by text or phone to review terms, documenting correspondence, receiving payments and posting to accounts, maintaining and balancing a cash drawer, traveling to customers’ homes for collections (potential repossession assistance with managerial approval), preparing paperwork for potential legal action, initiating credit investigations, logging daily/weekly/monthly activities, handling documentation and reports, operating standard office equipment, logging service requests into PQA and scheduling repairs, assisting customers on the sales floor (greeting customers, performing sales write ups, updating CRM), maintaining sales quotas, and upholding company values. Qualifications emphasize customer contact, documentation, and basic office and accounting skills, with a preference for a high school diploma or GED and relevant collections experience. ADA compliance and equal opportunity employment are noted.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- six months experience in payment collections or general office procedures
- valid State Driver’s License
