Job Summary
Credit Representative responsible for locating, notifying, and securing payments from customers with delinquent accounts. duties include sending text messages and notices to encourage payment, contacting customers by text or phone to discuss overdue payments, documenting communications, receiving payments and posting them, managing a cash drawer, traveling to customers’ homes to collect on late payments or assist with repossessions when approved, preparing paperwork for potential legal action, initiating credit investigations by phone under supervision, logging work activities, handling documentation and reports, operating standard office equipment, assisting on the sales floor with customer greetings, product demonstrations, and CRM updates, achieving sales quotas, adhering to customer service standards, and promoting company values. Minimum qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, six months of payment collections or general office experience, and a valid State Driver’s License. Requires various aptitudes including data utilization, verbal and mathematical skills, and the ability to follow procedures with independent judgment; equal opportunity employer commitments are noted.
