Job Summary
Credit Products Specialist II–Specialized role focused on structuring and underwriting complex commercial credit transactions within a specialized vertical or region. Responsible for independently analyzing credit risk, negotiating loan terms, monitoring portfolio performance, and providing strategic recommendations to relationship and credit teams. Responsibilities include leading underwriting efforts for complex loan requests, ongoing portfolio risk monitoring, client and stakeholder engagements to align needs with risk parameters, reviewing and negotiating credit agreements with legal, mentoring junior professionals, and ensuring compliance with bank policies. Proficient in financial modeling, risk assessment, and utilization of underwriting software and CRM tools to build trusted client relationships and drive proactive credit decisions.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Undergraduate Degree (4 years or equivalent) in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 4+ years of experience in commercial credit analysis, underwriting, or portfolio management
- 4+ years of experience in the direct specialized line of business (Specialized commercial industries, capital markets, corporate commercial banking)
- Advanced financial modeling and risk assessment expertise
- Strong negotiation skills and client collaboration
- Experience structuring complex loan transactions
