Job Summary
Credit Products Specialist I – ESOP Finance role supports underwriting, structuring, and management of commercial credit relationships. Partners with Relationship Managers to structure new loan transactions, monitor portfolios, assess borrower risk, and ensure sound credit decisions. Responsibilities include loan structuring and underwriting support, portfolio monitoring for covenant compliance and risk signals, collaboration with sales and credit teams, mentoring analysts, and ongoing development of credit knowledge to strengthen expertise in commercial lending. The position is part of the ESOP Finance Group, focused on ESOP-related leveraged buyouts of privately held companies across the United States. Qualifications include an undergraduate degree in finance/accounting/economics or 5+ years of equivalent experience, 2+ years in credit underwriting/portfolio management, strong financial analysis, proficiency with financial modeling and credit tools, and effective communication and teamwork.
Required Qualifications
- Education level required: Undergraduate Degree (4 years or equivalent) in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field or 5+ years of equivalent experience
- Minimum experience required: 2+ Years in credit underwriting, portfolio management, or a related field
- Strong financial analysis and risk assessment abilities
- Basic understanding of loan structuring and credit agreements
- Proficiency in financial modeling and credit decision tools
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
