Job Summary
Lead the Global Credit Production Engineering across FIC Technology, driving global production stability and aligning engineering priorities with business objectives. Embed modern Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles, enhancing platform robustness and contributing to tooling strategy. Develop and mentor a high‐performing global SRE‐aligned team while ensuring transparency and accountability for platform performance. Requires advanced technical proficiency in various programming languages, operating within regulated environments, and experience with observability platforms and infrastructure automation.
Required Qualifications
- Expertise in incident management, post‐mortem and problem‐management culture, change governance, and operating within regulated financial environments
- Advanced technical proficiency in Linux/Unix systems, Structured Query Language, and programming in C++, Java, Python, or equivalent scripting languages
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, low‐latency architectures, APIs and event driven architecture
- Hands‐on experience with observability and telemetry platforms (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, Geneos, OpenTelemetry) and infrastructure automation (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, continuous integration/continuous deployment pipelines)
- Familiarity with hybrid cloud, containerization, Kubernetes, Docker, and modern deployment methodologies
Desired Qualifications
- Leadership experience managing SRE or Production Engineering functions in complex, high‐availability, real‐time environments, ideally within capital markets
- Experience working in a Trading environment and knowledge of pricing, trade capture, market‐data flows, and fixed income products
- Exposure to Foreign Exchange or algorithmic and electronic trading in large scale environments
