Job Summary
Credit Portfolio Manager III oversees independent underwriting for complex CRE and C&I credits within Wholesale Banking, mentors CPM I/II, and leads deal teams. Responsibilities include leading the underwriting process for new and renewal opportunities, analyzing financial statements, projections, collateral, and guarantor support; making recommendations on credit amount, structure, and policy compliance; proactive portfolio monitoring for risk rating integrity and covenant compliance; client calls and portfolio-management delivery; and contributing to special improvement projects while complying with BSA/AML and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- seven or more years of experience in a commercial lending environment
- experience across multiple lines of business including Commercial & Industrial and real estate development
- SME for aligned industry and lending concepts
- proficiency in financial statement analysis and cash flow analysis
- Moody's Risk Analyst or similar financial software proficiency
- strong written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to manage multiple projects and work independently
