Job Summary
Underwrite all types of credit account exposure and manage an assigned credit portfolio for Institutional Client Group customers in the energy industries. Partner with Relationship Managers to successfully close new business relationships, expand existing ones, and make independent calls on assigned portfolio relationships. Manage credit risk and respond to prospect or customer credit questions. Provide customer service and participate in joint sales calls with Relationship Managers to identify customer needs. This hybrid role requires three plus days a week at the Denver or Dallas office.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Five to seven years of commercial banking experience
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced knowledge of commercial/corporate lending and credit standards, policies, procedures and products
- Strong relationship management and business development skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills
- Oil and gas underwriting experience; specifically Reserve Based Lending
- Knowledge of nCino or other credit platform
