Credit Operations Flood Specialist

Job Summary
Prepare and review flood insurance calculations, verify coverage policies and documentation, and identify potential risk exposures for all loans. Communicate with lending or other bank staff regarding flood insurance questions while ensuring loans comply with all regulatory requirements. Adhere to bank policies and procedures during daily tasks and complete required BSA/AML and other compliance training as assigned. Work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner, utilizing advanced word processing and spreadsheet skills. Requires 19 to 23 months of related experience and training.
Required Qualifications
- High school or GED
- Specialized schooling and/or on the job education in a specific skill area, e.g., data processing, clerical/administrative, equipment operation, etc.
- 19 to 23 months related experience and/or training
- 1 to 6 months related management experience
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to effectively communicate information and respond to questions in person-to-person and small group situations with customers, clients, general public and other employees of the organization
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to prepare and interpret bar graphs
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of known variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram formats
- Advanced: Word Processing/Typing
- Intermediate: 10-Key, Spreadsheet
- Basic: Accounting, Alphanumeric Data Entry, Contact Management, Database
- Proficiency in the use of computers
- Keen attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Ability to work under time constraint
