Job Summary
Review credit applications, appraisal reports, lease agreements, and financial documents to prepare credit assessments for new loans and renewals. Complete appraisal reviews, recommend commercial loan transactions in the GCMS system, and update Bankpoint for pipeline reporting. Communicate with frontline teams to collect required documents, revise proposals, and complete closing checklists after new loan bookings. Participate in property inspections and assist in reviewing loan documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with law and bank policy. Perform other duties as required while observing the department's code of ethics. Some travel for property inspections is required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (B. A. or B. S.) from four-year college or university
- Three to seven years of related experience and/or training
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read and interpret documents (such as operating and procedure manuals)
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to speak effectively to employees of the organization
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume
- Knowledge of Database software
- Knowledge of Word-processing software
- Knowledge of Internet software
- Knowledge of Spreadsheet software
- Well organized
- Excellent proof-reading ability
- Independent judgment
- Ability to perform high-level tasks
- Ability to synthesize complex or diverse information
- Ability to collect and research data
