Job Summary
Lead credit risk analysis and structuring for new transactions across Commercial & Specialized Industries; manage and mentor team members in risk grading, credit request analysis, and documentation. Partner with Bankers to balance risk and reward, ensure adherence to Credit Policy, and drive timely execution of renewals and new transactions. Communicate complex analyses effectively to internal stakeholders and senior leadership; contribute to portfolio quality improvement and cross-functional projects. Requires a BA/BS/BBA, 8+ years of commercial banking credit analysis experience, strong knowledge of credit agreements, and proven leadership and collaboration skills.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS/BBA degree required
- Completion of a major corporate or commercial bank credit training program (or equivalent corporate banking/corporate finance experience)
- At least 8 years experience in commercial banking/lending including extensive credit analysis
- Significant accounting and finance knowledge
- Strong working knowledge of credit agreements and other loan documentation
- Excellent verbal and written skills, interpersonal skills, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational and project management skills; ability to manage competing priorities under tight deadlines
- Proven ability to collaborate and build strong partnerships
- Intellectual curiosity with a proven ability to learn quickly
- High degree of initiative, self-direction, and ability to work well under pressure
