Job Summary
Review credit applications and supporting documentation, including appraisal and environmental reports, lease agreements, and financial statements. Complete appraisal reviews for new loan applications and prepare credit assessments for proposals and renewals. Recommend commercial loan transactions in the GCMS loan system, updating Bankpoint for pipeline reporting. Conduct post-loan booking call-backs, perform property inspections, and review loan documentation to ensure compliance with legal and bank policies. Requires a Bachelor's degree and two to five years of related experience. Occasional travel for inspections; primarily sedentary role with some staff interaction.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from a four-year college or university
- Two to five years of related experience and/or training
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
- Advanced English language skills
- Ability to read and interpret policies, procedures, and manuals
- Ability to write reports and correspondence
- Ability to communicate effectively with staff
- Ability to calculate interest, percentages, ratios, and financial figures
- Proficiency in database, word processing, internet, and spreadsheet software
- Strong organizational and proofreading skills
- Independent judgment and ability to perform high-level tasks
- Ability to research and synthesize complex information
- Ability to identify issues and develop solutions
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to provide clear, persuasive, and professional oral and written communication
- Ability to be open to feedback and collaboration
- Ability to identify, measure, monitor, and report risks proactively
- Ability to ensure ongoing risk management and compliance
- Ability to adhere strictly to the Department/Bank's code of ethics
- Ability to occasionally travel for property inspections
