Job Summary
Manage weekly Credit Committee materials and meetings, including distributing credit packages, serving as secretary, and ensuring credit requirements are reflected in meeting notes and memos. Coordinate loan and amendment reviews approved by the Chief Credit Officer, supporting the review and approval of all loan requests from intake through closing while working closely with Lending, Finance, and Legal staff. Review final drafts of credit memos to ensure underwriting requirements are satisfied and data integrity in Salesforce and loan systems is maintained. Provide technical and underwriting assistance to LISC Lending and local program staff across a wide array of community and economic development product types. Prepare loan approval notification letters and conduct internal outreach on maturing loans to circulate status updates and coordinate amendment requests. Develop and present trainings on credit approval processes, underwriting guidelines, and system utilization, while creating marketing materials for internal and external audiences.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- Minimum three (3) years of job related credit analysis experience
- Demonstrated interest in a career in community development finance
- Strong financial analysis skills, including ability to analyze financial statements, project development budgets, and project operating pro formas
- Familiarity with government subsidies and tax credit programs supporting affordable housing
- Strong written skills and attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively across the LISC network of local and national programs and affiliates
- Good organizational abilities, including ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments simultaneously
