Job Summary
Credit Officer for Infrastructure & Project Finance role focused on independent credit assessments and sanctioning of facilities in renewables, PFI, economic and digital infrastructure, and energy transition technology. Responsibilities include analysing company information, conducting technical and market due diligence, preparing structured credit proposals, liaising with originators and product partners, and monitoring credit exposures to ensure compliance with Group Policy and regulatory policy. Requires ability to perform sensitivity analyses, assess transactions against policy, maintain records for reporting, and apply sound judgement in risk evaluation. Strong communication, stakeholder management, and the ability to work in a hybrid model (40% in-office across London, Edinburgh, or Birmingham) are essential. Knowledge of the UK and US jurisdictions, plus adaptability and attention to detail, will support success in a fast-paced, diverse, values-driven environment within Lloyds Banking Group.
Required Qualifications
- Existing credit risk management experience in infrastructure and project finance sectors (including renewables)
- familiarity with UK and US jurisdictions is helpful
