Credit Officer II - Sports Finance and Advisory

Job Summary
Develop specialized knowledge of the sports industry, including league structures, revenue streams, and venue financing. Lead client engagement and serve as a trusted advisor on capital structure, liquidity management, and financing alternatives. Structure tailored credit solutions and negotiate loan terms while owning portfolio asset quality and risk mitigation. Collaborate with relationship managers, treasury, and risk partners to deliver integrated solutions and act as a credit approver. Participate in client visits, industry conferences, and league meetings to strengthen market presence. Requires 10+ years in commercial banking with strong credit structuring and underwriting expertise. Reports to the Commercial Credit Manager with periodic travel expected.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in commercial banking, including Middle Market, Leveraged Finance, Large Corporate Banking, Sports Finance, or related business lines
- Strong technical skills, including financial statement analysis, underwriting, cash flow modeling, and credit structuring
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex transactions and client relationships
- Excellent communication, relationship management, and collaboration skills
- Willingness and ability to travel as needed to support clients and industry initiatives

- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) preferred
